Selma Blair born Selma Blair Beitner; June 23, 1972 is an American film, television, and theater actress.
Blair started her professional acting career in 1995.
In 2011, Blair lent her voice to narrate the Holocaust-related audio documentary The Diary of Anne Frank.
Other notable films include The Fog 2005 , Purple Violets 2007 , The Poker House 2008 , Columbus Circle 2012 and Mothers and Daughters 2016.
During her early years, she played a large number of supporting roles in film and television, before obtaining recognition for her leading role in the film noir Brown's Requiem in 1998.
